H5N2 Bird flu UPSC

The World Health Organisation has acknowledged that the first human death from bird flu has occurred In Mexico. The deceased is a 59-year-old Mexican citizen who presented the symptoms of avian influenza A H5N2, and later died on April 24th. This has been the first human case of the virus and it has arisen and made all the health-conscious organisations in the world aware.
