Friction between moving surfaces can cause them to fuse and seize if not properly managed. Lubrication grease prevents this by creating a separating film between the surfaces. Grease lubrication, a modern method, provides a thin, slippery layer that reduces friction and allows smoother movement of machine parts. It consists of three components: thickener, oil, and additives. Grease can be applied either in liquid or solid form.
