Found a Lovely Country Hotel in Gloucestershire | Oakwood Hotel

I recently came across Oakwood Hotel, a genuinely relaxing country hotel in Gloucestershire  , tucked just outside Gloucester and only a short drive from Cheltenham. What stood out was how well thought out the whole stay felt, comfortable rooms with a calm, natural feel, a relaxed pub for casual meals, and a proper grill restaurant if you fancy something a bit more special. They also do a lovely afternoon tea and a Sunday lunch that's clearly popular with locals, not just guests. If you're planning a wedding, a small celebration, or just need somewhere comfortable near Cheltenham Festival, it's well worth a look. A nice mix of countryside charm and genuine hospitality.
